Framework Therapy and Assessment Centre provides a comprehensive spectrum of mental health care services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Supported by a team of skilled practitioners – psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, and dieticians – we understand that everyone has distinctive needs and can structure a program that best suits you. Our assessment, therapy, counselling, and training services are based on the leading research and best practice guidelines.
Framework was founded by Dr. Hayley Wood and Dr. Pamela Wilansky.

Our Services
Our interprofessional team aims to provide evidence-based services that meet your individual needs. After an initial consultation, we will decide together what service(s) best suit your needs. Currently, we offer our services in-person at our Leaside location, or by secure videoconferencing, or telephone. Our services are offered in English, French and Hebrew. If you require services in another language, please contact us.
Our multidisciplinary team comprises practitioners who specialize in providing assessment and treatment/psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults with: Anxiety, depression, learning disabilities (LD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), personality disorders (e.g., Borderline Personality Disorder; BPD), post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), stress related illnesses, sleep related disturbances, substance abuse and eating disorders. Also, we offer education and training in these areas, as well as conduct active research studies through our affiliations with teaching hospitals and universities.

REFERRAL PROCESS
We accept self-referrals or referrals from other professionals. Please note that some extended health carriers require a physician's referral before providing reimbursement of fees. To initiate the referral process please contact us at 416-792-2202.
CONFIDENTIALITY
All of our services are confidential. We adhere to strict and comprehensive confidentiality standards and legislation set out by our regulatory bodies. All client information is kept confidential and will not be released to anyone outside of our centre without your written permission, except under circumstances required by law. These exceptions will be explained to you by your clinician and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. You will also be provided with a written document explaining our policy on confidentiality.
FEES AND PAYMENT
We have carefully assembled a group of highly trained professionals to provide each of our clients with comprehensive care. While the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) covers costs associated with psychiatric services, it does not cover other allied health services conducted in a private practice setting (such as those provided by a psychologist). However, most extended health insurance plans reimburse for all or part of various services (e.g., psychological, nutrition, speech and language, occupational therapy and massage therapy). Fees that are not reimbursed may be claimed as medical expenses on your income tax returns. You will be provided with a detailed receipt for claims of this kind.
Fees for our clinicians are in accordance with the guidelines set out by our respective regulatory bodies or professional associations. Fees for services will vary depending on the qualifications and experience of the clinician. Each clinician will discuss with you the fees associated with the provided services.
Payment for services is due at the end of each session. Fees are payable by cash, cheque, or e-transfer.
APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION/MISSED APPOINTMENT
We understand that there are circumstances in which you may need to cancel or change an appointment that has been scheduled and we are make every effort to accommodate these changes. You will need to connect with your clinician either via phone or email to inform them of the circumstances within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice or fail to show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be financially responsible for paying the full fee.
