DR. HAYLEY WOOD, PH.D., C.PSYCH.

Clinical Director, Psychologist

Dr. Hayley Wood, a licensed Clinical and School Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, holds a Ph.D. in School and Child Clinical Psychology from the University of Toronto. She specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families.

Dr. Wood has worked in various settings, including the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), the Hospital for Sick Children, Youthdale Treatment Centres, and the Toronto District School Board. She has supervised numerous graduate students undertaking clinical training and authored multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and a book chapter.

Dr. Wood is deeply committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that supports clients through life’s challenges and transitions. Her integrative therapeutic approach draws from Emotion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioural, and supportive modalities. She tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs, fostering a warm and collaborative environment where individuals feel understood and empowered.

Dr. Wood has extensive experience supporting individuals with mood and anxiety disorders, autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, attention and executive function challenges, and gender dysphoria. She values creating safe, affirming spaces for clients navigating identity, self-understanding, emotional regulation, and interpersonal relationships. As Clinical Director of Framework Therapy and Assessment Centre, she is dedicated to building a team and a practice rooted in clinical excellence, collaboration, and thoughtful, client-centred care.
